Hi @karlTH,
I think this is not really a problem.
arduino.org 46 is still producing them and since it is an open source and open hardware product it will still be available via online shops 22.
However, we should try to figure out what other platforms are interesting besides the Arduino Yun and the raspberry PI.
Open Hybrid is supported wherever you can run embedded Linux.
